Motte Castrale Prison

In Saint-Omer, on the mound that once bore the castle of the Counts of Flanders, the remains of a medieval prison still stand. A discreet place, steeped in centuries of Audomarois history.

The site only opens during events, from the Journées du patrimoine to guided tours of the historic centre. Ask at the tourist office before you visit.
