Ambleteuse Beach
Beaches
A small village beach at the foot of the Fort Mahon, the Vauban fort standing on the foreshore at the mouth of the Slack. Gravel at high tide, sand at low tide, and a wide rocky platform that the sea uncovers.
It is a spot for shore fishing as much as a beach, with a wild feel and no commercial seafront. Swimming is supervised in summer. Dogs are not allowed, and the beach is non-smoking.
