La Forteresse

The most demanding of the loops starting from Marquise. 24 kilometres through the rolling countryside, on either side of the A16 motorway, to the Forteresse de Mimoyecques.

The site, carved into a chalk massif 165 kilometres from London, is a place of remembrance and a remarkable natural space. Allow a full day and good shoes.
